Coach Mode: full box scores, shot charts and film without the tagging
Record the game the way you already do. Coach Mode sends back a full box score, player stats, shot charts and clipped film — usually within 24 hours, with nobody tagging plays.
We’re your team working behind the scenes.
Machine-powered. Player focused.
Coach Mode reads the film so you do not have to. You get efficiency trends, the shooting zones your team actually lives in, and a plain-language summary of what worked and what did not — ready before your next session.

View performance your way
Analyze team and player performance in a variety of ways with a wide range of filtering options. You’ll see where the team excels and opportunities for improvement so you can finish the season strong.

Data made for action
Development needs evidence, not impressions. Zone shooting charts show where a player actually scores, game summaries name what improved, and season-long stats tell you whether the work is landing.

An assistant coach who watched every possession
The AI Assistant Coach reads the whole game and tells you what happened in plain language: what the team did well, where it fell short, and the moments worth putting in front of players. Ask it a question about your own game data and it answers.
It is not a dashboard you have to interpret. It is the read you would get from a staff member who had time to watch the film twice.
Scouting reports in one ask
Ask for a report on your next opponent. It comes back off the box scores already sitting in SportsVisio, with no queries, no exports and no spreadsheet. Every report includes:
- Five keys to the game
- A recap of their last outing
- A team-versus-team comparison
- Player-by-player notes on their rotation
- The full box score
The useful part is what it points at. In one rec-league rematch the report flagged that a single player had scored 44% of his team's points, that another had gone 3-of-17 from the floor and should be left to shoot, and that the game had been lost at the free-throw line rather than on the glass.
Built on Dean Oliver's Four Factors
We did not invent this framework. Dean Oliver did, in Basketball on Paper, and his Four Factors of Basketball Success still explain winning better than anything else a coach can look at. Oliver weights them roughly:
- Shooting, about 40% — effective field goal percentage (eFG%)
- Turnovers, about 25% — turnover percentage, TOV% = 100 x (Turnovers / Possessions)
- Rebounding, about 20% — offensive rebound percentage (ORB%)
- Free throws, about 15% — how often you get to the line and convert
Coach Mode calculates all four automatically from video, possession by possession, and ties them to Offensive, Defensive and Net Rating. You see not just how many turnovers happened, but what they cost you in scoring efficiency.
